Snow was falling gently through the air, between the branches of the woods as the crisp, winter air revealing Aiden's breath as he walked through the forest, Fireflies blasting into his black and grey ears through headphones, two soft tails swirling behind him, wrapped around each other. The silver fox made this trip each week, walking through the forest, vibrant blue eyes gazing around, looking at the changes, paws buried in his white coat pockets and black scarf wrapped around his neck, black jeans covering his legs.
Aiden's trip brought him to the edge of the forest, revealing a field, covered in a layer of fresh snow, undisturbed. He smiled, walking through the light fluff, boots making marks in the snow, as he made his way to the center of the field, his iPod was set to repeat one, as he turned around and fall backwards slowly, landing with a slight oomph, and a small cloud of snow. He laid there, eyes closed and music in his ears, as he focused on absolute nothing, enjoying the snow.
The fox's mind was consumed in his meditation, as he felt everything around him, and smiled. Nature was comforting him, the snow fell lightly onto his nose and eyelids, and he began purring. He stayed this way for a while, absorbed in thought and dreams. He felt the other presence, ignoring it at first, until he realized it was headed for him, and was standing right over him, as he opened his eye.
In front of Aiden's face, was that of a white tiger, smiling, soft blue eyes staring back, "What're you doing?" he asked, bemused.
"Meditating," Aiden replied, blushing slightly when the rest of the tiger came into focus, aqua blue shoulder length hair, an additional tuft of facial hair from his chin, his top covered in a thick black coat, bottom in dark blue denim jeans, and black sneakers.
The tiger chuckled at his response, and the tint of red which came to his cheeks, "You're a dork," he said, turning around.
"What?" Aiden asked, standing up quickly and facing the tiger, "Well what are you doing here?" he asked, pausing, "Call me Aiden."
The Tiger smiled, facing him again, "Call me Ryu, and I'm here cause you're a dork, and decided to nap in the middle of a public park," he said, sticking his tongue out, doing nothing more than causing the fox to blush deeper, as Ryu chuckles and turns around, starting to walking away.
Aiden blinked, shaking the snow out of his fur, before following the tiger, face still red and movements slightly flustered, as he kept pace, staying silent for a time, looking at the tiger.
"Following me?" Ryu asked Aiden, turning around, walking backwards, "You are a dork," he said, smiling.
"You keep calling me that," the fox responded, unable to think of anything else to say.
"And it makes you blush," he responded, smirking, pausing, "You wanna grab some coffee?"
Aiden blinked and nodded, following the tiger, "You have any place or time in particular in mind?"
Ryu shrugged, "Right now, the first place we come across," he said, walking next to Aiden, wraping his tail around the fox's.
